Peak Baggers, Wind Rivers, Hikers, Ride the Divide and Cowgirls!

Written July 4, 2014

I've made some fun souvenirs for all of you outdoors fans. Backpackers, hikers, bicyclists, bikers, peak baggers....These medallions are in sterling silver or bronze and I've started with a few choices: Gannett Peak, Fremont Peak, Cirque of the Towers, Wind River Range, Wyoming, and Wyoming Cowgirl. Is there a peak you've climbed and want to remember? I can customize one special for you.

Mother's Jewelry

Written April 30, 2013

I've had a lot of women request mother's jewelry over the years and I've been happy to oblige. One of the most popular are these silver medallions that I add their children's names and make each one different with various dots, lines, stars, etc.

Hammered Rings ...Customized

Written March 25, 2013

I am often asked to add some flare to a hammered band with a gemstone so I work with my customers to customize.

This ring is in 14K White Gold and I set the customer's diamond that she had me take out of an older ring.

Happy New Year!

Written January 5, 2013

I have taken a small break from the jewelry making to celebrate Christmas and New Year's with my family and friends.  However I am back in town and will be diving right back into the jewelry bench.  Right before I left for the holiays I made a beautiful turquoise bracelet with 6 strands of Nevada mined turquoise with a sterling silver clasp that I recently designed.  I will be offering more bracelets with this clasp with various gemstones.

Locally Sourced Stones

Written July 27, 2012

I love the opportunity to feature regionally mined stones.  I've just posted two new rings to this site; one has a Utah petrified dinosaur bone and the other a Pilot Mountain, Nevada turquoise.

Image mash-up

I am endlessly updating my website with new work.  First I design and fabricate the jewelry--- then I photograph it in my special light tent--- then I crop and correct the images--- then I upload the information and images and then...ta-da...it's online!  It can be overwhelming to run my own business and tend to every task, including sweeping and mopping the floors, but it is rewarding because I love my work and it makes me happy when my customers appreciate the jewelry.

Customized Hammered Rings

written - July 03, 2012

I often customize hammered rings to my customers' desires.  Here is one I made this week, 3.5 mm Hammered 14K White Gold ring with four flush set apatite stones.

Also a recent custom order was a hammered ring that tapers in back and has two star-set stones in a slab on top. My customer wanted a one-of-a-kind unusual mother's ring. The two stones are turquoise and lapis lazuli and the ring is sterling silver.
